I have noticed that FSX (on my PC) does not like task-switching, so if you want to switch to another program, press ESC first (is this normal for FSX?). In this case it is also necessary to place FSUIPC.dll in the FS9 folder called Modules Īfter loading the file (and perhaps tweaking it), you can just press Start, minimize FaceTrackNoIR and start FSX (or whatever).
I gave its location and then pressed Start. Then, in in Game Protocol, I pressed the button Settings. Then File>Open and I selected FS2004.ini (I think you need to select SimConnect.ini, Andrew).

So you don't need any gear, just your head (who goes flying without his head these days? If you installed update 4 of FaceTrackNoIR properly, then there are some. FaceTrackNoIR does what it says: it tracks your face. Once you are load the GTA.ini file (which is located in the directory FaceTrackNoIR of archive) in a FaceTrackNoIR program, press Start in a frame with labeled 'GO' and leave it running in the background mode. In my previous post on this thread i might have been mistaken, I think I used freetrack and couldnt get it to work. Now im all confused, is freetrack and facetracknoir the same program?Disregard my previous post, I can be mistaken as im not sure what program I used anymore.SorryHi flyinpilot212121,No problemo: you must have tried Free-track, which is a great program, but does indeed require some head-gear with LED's. Place facetrack.asi and facetrack.ini in the GTA V directory where the ScriptHookV placed. Now what do I have to do to get this work in FSX? Any special setting I am missing? You say it connects via SimConnect, but do I need to do more than start the application and run face tracking? Thanks for some help, as this might be a useful thing for me! I downloaded it and it seems to track my face, at least inside the program. Any questions? Post them here.V4FriendBTW.: It would be greatly appreciated if content users become donators. The website offers a lot of information, so please just read it.

On startup, the last INI-file that was used is automatically opened. These files are stored in the 'Settings' folder per default.
